Pennsylvania’s 10 largest casinos offer live poker, and a $600 million casino being built in South Philadelphia includes plans for a 33-table poker room. The rooms range from 48 tables at Parx to only. The launch of the first poker site (PokerStars) happened over 700 days after that legislation was passed. Some illegal, offshore sites advertise poker rooms to PA residents, but these are not licensed or regulated in any way. They should be avoided at all costs. Only the sites listed on this page are legally allowed to operate in the state. Pennsylvania is the fourth state to offer regulated online poker. Players in the Keystone State are currently only able to play on PokerStars PA but more operators are expected to launch by early 2020. This page contains a wealth of information that players in Pennsylvania will find useful, including the history of online poker in their state, current operators, land-based poker rooms.
